"Intellectual Property" includes copyright, patents, designs, trademarks, circuit layouts or plant varieties; and includes know-how, trade secrets and confidential information. The University has an intellectual property policy established to manage and protect intellectual property arising out of the work of CSU, its staff and students, and where appropriate, facilitate its commercialisation.

Outside Professional Activities Policy
Description
An explanation of the University's Outside Professional Activities (OPA) policy as it applies to academic and general staff. The OPA policy defines the rights and obligations of staff and of CSU and details procedures intended to protect both CSU and its staff from legal liability and other risks.
