Qualitative Data Analysis - NVIVO
Outline: NVIVO is used to handle information and analysis on both small and large volumes of data. It removes many of the manual tasks associated with analysis, classifying, sorting and arranging information and will allow more time to build and test theories.
The software is designed to assist researchers in every field from academia.
Note: This course is for Post Graduate Research Students and staff members who are Post Graduate Research Students.
(Beginner/Intermediate) (Two Day workshops)
This is a two-day course and assumes no prior knowledge of NVivo software and is suitable for beginners and/or those requring a refresher course. Participants are introduced to the software’s features and given time to work through exercises to create a project from their own data.
Note: Please bring some of your own data along. If you haven’t collected any data as yet, bring along some literature
to start analysing, or some of the material you have collected around your
research project.
