Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the Research Outputs data collection and reporting, which includes acting as CRGT representative on the Institutional Repository working party, Research system administrator of CRO and other data base systems as the University may require.
- Coordinate and manage the Research Productive Staff data compilation and delivery of reports for Performance based funding schemes as approved by the University’s Research Management Committee.
- Provide functional and liaison support to the Faculties (Deans and Sub-Deans) and Research Centres of the University regarding Research Administration Data collection and retrieval systems and information, which includes effective communication with respect to the University’s publication collection and statistical reporting for research planning purposes.
- Provide advice, including reports, on all matters relating to Research Outputs to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) to support University strategic planning for research.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating to research staff up-to-date processes and procedures for the effective recording and retrieval of Research Administration Data within CSU management information systems – eg CRO, Banner Student, Banner Finance. This includes facilitating the investigation and correction of user identified problems and formulating solutions.
- Assist with the analysis, specification, testing and implementation of new Research administration information systems and improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems, including interaction and integration with related systems.
- Participate in the cyclical performance management planning and review process and meet agreed operational objectives set for the performance period.
